What’s really annoying you? Neighbours parking? Kids screaming? That family member you just can’t say those words too? I’ll start. I will never forgive you for being vocal of your pride over my siblings but nothing I have ever done is good enough for you. You have hurt my feelings and broke my heart sooo many times. You have let me down so bad. I can’t forgive you.

Aww @RedOasis, I can hear the pain in your words. Have you ever looked at the Stately Homes thread in Relationships? Lots of wise words there about troubled parental relationships.

Mine is trivial in comparison - my neighbour has two yappy little dogs that bark and snarl at each other all day which she responds to by yelling at them. It's got really wearing over the last 15 weeks.

Dear neighbour,

You're a lovely person but I'd REALLY appreciate not having to factor in an extra 15 minutes into my morning in order to accommodate our daily chat while I'm ready to get in my car and go to work! I know your husband pretends to be deaf and I actually listen but you're eating into my lie in 😭😭😭
