Looking for some instant caffienated coffee today I found that I have four unopened jars of de-caffinated coffee in my kitchen.

WTF?????

I cleared my cupboards out the other day and I had 6(!) unopened jars of pasta sauce my mum bought me when i came to uni in 2002. Since then I have lived in 5 different houses and apparently they have just carried on moving with me

Chance would be a fine thing to find anything in my cupbards today! Payday tomorrow, all out of date goods eaten!

At the weekend I threw away the following items:

• Black treacle - Best before Oct 06

• Baking powder - BB July 05

• Bicarb of soda - BB Oct 04 (!)

• Various food colourings, jars of spices etc, all at least 2 years out of date

• A party bag from a few months ago with a mouldy crispy cake still in it.

I also found 3 packets of Lidl extra long spaghetti - seriously, this stuff is about three feet long - which obviously seemed like a great idea at the time...

we moved house 7 years ago. A couple of weeks ago I finally got round ot emptying the last few boxes of stuff we'd moved with and put in the loft, to find a whole box of kitchen cupboard stuff, including leaking bottles of oil - nice .
