Best London commuter town

We're looking for a mixture of quick commute to London for work, good schools, things to do (community feel), nice house with decent gardens. Budget is up to £800k. Hoping this isn't too much to ask of a place, so far we feel we always have to compromise on at least one.

Which London station would you want to commute to?

How long a commute do you want? I know people who travel from Bristol to London on a daily basis.

Oh wow, I love Bristol but that commute would probably be a bit too far for us. Up to 40minutes to London bridge preferably. Thank you
