Also Bluewater and Bromley but watch the sizes - they tend to be smaller than we're used to in this country so beware if you're buying for a present. My fashionista daughters (8 and 10) love it

One in Bullring too

acnebride · 12/10/2004 21:39

it's about to arrive in oxford! clear the credit card

Zara is fab, I used to live in the one at the Trafford Centre when I lived in Manc (sob). Got the most gorgeous pair of charcoal grey trousers from there, I'm loathe to sell them or give them away, despite the fact that they are 2 sizes to small for me post-birth.

SofiaAmes · 12/10/2004 22:28

yes their kids clothes (and adult stuff) is great, but watch out for the sizes. I've found that they are totally wonky and you HAVE to try on everything. I bought 3 pairs of trousers for my dh in his size and 2 were too big and one was too small. Kid's sizes vary a lot too.

Skate · 12/10/2004 22:31

Good to know - I know there's one in the Traff Centre but didn't know they did kids clothes. Will def try and get there soon! Hurrah!!

NDP - so you left Manc? Where are you now? I love it here but then it's my homeland - I'm a born and bred Manc.

NomDePlume · 13/10/2004 11:03

Hi Skate. Sorry, only just caught your message

Born in Droylsden (it was MUCH nicer in those days). Moved around a bit when my parents separated, to-ing and fro-ing to diff family members (the original human ping-pong ball)- West Gorton (behind Gorton Cross Centre, off Hyde Rd),
Levenshulme (Broom Lane),
facing Debdale Park on Hyde Rd.
Moved to Salford,
back to Droylsden,
then to Wales.

From Wales moved back to Manchester alone at 16, into a flat in Atherton (nr Bolton),
then into a houseshare in Farnworth, Bolton
and onto a flat in Tonge Fold, Bolton.
Left Manchester and now live in Worcester !

I'd love to go back, but DH is born and bred here and his DS's from his first marriage are based here (we have them 60% of the time, but their mum is here, as are their schools). He really wouldn't be keen.

popsycal · 13/10/2004 11:08

evesmama - where do you live?

woodpops · 13/10/2004 11:16

I prefer boys clothes to the girls ones. Ds is ok with tops from zara at the minut but is between sizes in trousers so all his jeans are coming from Next lately.

EvesMama · 13/10/2004 21:07

hi popsycal... i live in middlesbrough....everyone else is miles away from me!!!

i noticed the sizes are small as myy dd normally gets swamped in 12-18 month h&m stuff, but 2year fit lovely!
