Probably a dumb question but who do i ring to find out my DD's child benefit ref no? It gets paid straight in to an account so I don't have a benefit book, I've looked at home and can find no paperwork and need the benefit number for a from ai'm filling out.
Who do I ring to find it out?

It might be on your bank statement...mine is

Thomcat · 11/10/2004 13:59

no, it gets paid straight into an Abbey account I set up for her and they don't send me statements.

Ring the child benefit office they will give it to you, I had the same problem.

TC
Isn't it given as the reference number shown next to the transaction on your bank statement? Mine is.

Also you should have received a form when you first received the benefit. That has the number on it. I have a file marked "important letters" where all this stuff lives.
