Has anyone held a Pizza Express 'make your own pizza party'?

And if so, how was it? Could a bunch of 7/8 year olds manage it? Do they bake them for you so they can eat them there?

I've done a Pizza Express party for a group of then 4 year olds (and younger). Good fun! Staff very helpful. Pizzas were an interesting mix of flavours but were pigged when they arrived back from the oven. I think a group of 7/8 year olds would be absolutely fine - you could do some games / disco while the pizzas are being cooked as there is a bit of a delay! They will bake them and you get to eat them there - really good time had by all!

We did this for DDs 7th. It was okay... they give the kids a base each which they top to their own taste and then they get baked and eaten.

It was all girls, some of them said it was the best party, others frankly looked a bit baffled as to when the party was going to start...in retrospect I should have taken some games to play at the table or at least prizes for the best decorated hat (they get a paper cooks hat and pencils to decorate it).

my dd went to one of those a few years back. I think she was 7 and birthday boy was 8. Sh eloved it. Cooked them there and then so they could eat them.
