My husband insists the pandemic won't go away until everyone in the world has had it and recovered.
I hope and believe there will be a vaccine soon because as far as I know no-one can tell us if you are immune after you've had it once. He's completely convinced its only a matter of time before we all go down with it, so the only thing the govt can do is to try to arrange things so we don't all go down with at at once.
He's also convinced that once you've had it you should volunteer at your local hospital/drop in centre etc to offer yourself in any capacity to keep the country running, such as mopping the floor or cleaning windows or sweeping the car-park unless you have other skills that can be put to better use.
He's still following the 'rules' but I don't like this attitude, it seems defeatist.
