Neighbour Looking Through My Recycling Bins

This is a strange one. When I moved into my house six months ago I noticed my neighbours son hiding take away packages and left over food in my bins, I wouldn’t have minded but he would just throw it in including pop drinks and make everything dirty and sticky. I ended up putting a sign on the bin asking the person to stop not directing it to my neighbours son who I will add is a 20 year old man. I woke up a few days ago to look out of my window see my neighbour walking in my front garden and digging through the recycling elbow deep. I decided not to approach her at that time as she is aggressive and it was 5am in the morning and I didn’t want a drama, which I do believe she will cause. We don’t talk anymore as she sent me a text message saying that a dog had pooped on the pavement near my front garden and she would like me to clear it up. I told her I would not. To tell the truth I may have done if she hadn’t told me to do it.

She has done other bits in this small about of time of instance I was having plaster picked up from a rubbish company I put the bags outside of my front garden so they could see the bags and put a note on the bags so everyone else knew they are being collected she dragged it back in my front garden which resulted in the company not seeing the rubbish and i list out of the money I had paid online.

What should I do if anything? This women is driving me completely crazy.

?ring door bell to film

Thanks, I was thinking this too. Putting up a camera door bell to film her doing it but then I thought will this make the situation even worst. Our front doors are right next to each other so I am going to plant a hedge to stop her just walking into the garden so freely. I think if I approach her or report her she could get even worse. When I moved in and went away when I came back I noticed around 30 beer tops on the floor and it could only have been her son. I am thinking if they wanted to they could make my life awful. I think I will put a camera up and start making notes just in case she isn’t well and things get worse. It’s a hard one because she is aggressive and I have a young child I’m trying to shield from her. Ring door bell it is. Thanks!

Get locks on your bins too. Make sure to note the date and time of any incidents or use a spare diary if you have one.
