Is it safe for me to let my son go to his dads for two weeks I have kept him home since the virus started

Depends what his dad has been up to doesn’t it. If the dad ( and any other members of his household) has been correctly socially distancing for the same length of time then yes.

Then why wouldn’t you? Your child had just as much likelihood of catching it in your house.
