WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGE
coming up to the end of my period which was on time, I had no cramping.. I'm very confused. Could it be a blood clot or a potential miscarriage? I’m 21 years old and on the pill microcynan.. taken at the same time every day, sooo sorry for the graphic image but my doctor is a male and I would not feel comfortable showing him this photo. Thank you

Well having once had a miscarriage at 7 weeks pregnant I can confirm the pregnancy sac was smaller than that so possibly a clot or a bit of A decidual cast maybe? I’m really not wanting to zoom in too closely Wink but please don’t ever be embarrassed to discuss things with the dr if you are ever worried, they will have seen things a lot worse than that.

I honestly have not experienced that before.I can see how it would be scary.
But I do have all kinds of clots so maybe that's it.But as the other gal said, don't be embarrassed.Believe me,your doc has literally seen it all.

I'd want to dissect that and find out .. it looks very like an embryo covered in stuff to me .

mineofuselessinformation · 29/03/2020 17:17

Decidual cast? They can look quite scary.

My brother will be a doctor soon. I've been telling him all about my periods and he also has two other sisters and a girlfriend too!

I hope you can show your doctor- but could you ask for a female doctor if that would be easier for you?

Ara2008 · 18/04/2020 00:59

I think it looks like a blood clot.

Fluffytail1 · 14/05/2020 10:41

This is perfectly normal. I wouldn’t worry
