I am looking for any tips/guidance on applying for a Spanish passport on the basis of ‘bloodline’.
I am a UK national (born in England) and I am eligible to apply as my mother was Spanish (she died some years ago). I don’t have any documentation for my late mother or any contact with relatives in Spain. Although I can speak/read/write Spanish I am not familiar with the Spanish legal/administrative system.
I contacted the Spanish Consulate in London and they provided a list of documents needed.
Has anyone else completed this process and how did you find it?
