Does anyone know of a restaurant in London which does a traditional Thanksgiving dinner? Needs to be kid friendly of course.

Arkansas Cafe - one of the reviews mentions Thanksgiving.

The Ritz!!!! - no idea how child friendly that might be.

Will keep looking, Uwila. (I love googling!)

Never heard of anything. I'm sure there must be some private dinners at restaurants - alumni associations and such.

We usually share Thanksgiving with friends, either at our house or theirs, although it's getting harder to get together with very many families at one meal as the number of children grows! Thanksgiving is only a tiny bit more complicated than our usual Sunday lunch.

You could have a look at the websites of "American" restaurants to see if they are laying on a special menu for that day or the weekend.

The Texas Embassy Cantina!

This one does mention children: "Celebration menus are available on American Independence Day, Thanksgiving and on many other occasions, why not come and join in the festivities with a great party atmosphere on these days? Children can choose from a wide selection of meals from their own menu, designed to keep the little ones amused on their visit with puzzles and drawings."
