any brownies

dd(7) wants to join the brownies but i dont know much about it-i spoke to lady who does it here but any advice?

Dd starts next monday. I am not all that qualified to answer any questions you might have but she did Rainbows (the group before Brownies) for a year so I might be able to help.

Has she go t aplace?

Not a lot to it really, what did you want to know?

My DD2 does it and loves it. They ususally do a mix of activities, rounders or cycling in the park in summer, crafty stuff in winter, work for various badges, have outings and so on. It depends a lot on the Brown Owl and how much help she has. Ours gets various people in to talk to them - she had the guy from the local cycle shop in one week to teach them how to maintain their bikes and another week one of the mums who is a synchronised swimming teacher gave them a free lesson.
