Seeing Santa.

Has anyone ever taken their children to see Santa in Lapland?? It's something I've always wanted to do as a child myself and now as a mother. Ds is 3 and dd nearly 2. I think it'll probably be a case of waiting a couple of years. I'm being really stupid but just thinking about it and the reaction on the kids faces is making me fill up. How silly am I??

We went last year ds was 8 and dd was 6. the flight wasn't too long but I wouldn't like to do it with younger children. Depends on how well behaved they are.

I personally would leave it another year. But by all means DO IT.. it is one hell of an experience for young and old(er). the people we went with met us at the airport with snow suits and took us to the hotel, as it was 20 miles from the nearest town. It is VERY COLD so make sure you wrap up well.

As a 35 year old I still cry with emotion at christmas and the memories of my two's faces when they walked into this wooden chalet and saw Santa in all his glory will be with me until I die.

Hope this helps.
