typing tutor in or near Brighton?

DS (8) is dyspraxic and his handwriting is really appalling. We know he is really bright and think (and his teachers agree) that if he can do his work on a computer it would be better. We have been struggling for some time to learn to type at home, but progress is slow, and I wondered whether anyone knows of a tutor who could teach ds to type?

hi 2shoes, sorry I didn't see this before (thought no one had responded) - yes if you could ask your neighbour that would be fab.

what about an online typing tutor? the BBC have a good site aimed at children

we have a couple of the typing tutor programmes - the problelm is motivating ds. I think sending him to someone to teach him would be quicker and more fun for him.

I saw the bbc programme yesterday (it was linked on another thread) so we will try that.

spoke to her and she said most people now just use programmes to teach themselves. this was the one she recommened.
