Crayon nightmare - please help....

My dd has just got vivid pink crayon all over the walls in my sitting room - they are a pale cream with waterbased matt paint and I can?t remember exact colour (no left over paint tins to be found).
It is in a really obvious place, too low to hang a picture over it etc. and looks terrible (clashes with my colour scheme for a start!!)
If anyone has any clever ideas to get rid of this mess I would really appreciate it!

Try tipking.com useful tips on stain removal. I have had the same problem in the past and used baby wipes, managed to remove ds wonderful artwork. Good luck.

My ds did this too - I didn't have the heart to remove it, but luckily the lovely big smiley face he drew can be concealed by the door

Thanks for the tips glitterbabe - I tried the baby wipe trick but sorory to say that it hasn?t worked for the crayon this time, I am going to check out that site in a mo and hopefully that will sort me out. I hadn?t heard of it before and it sounds like a parent?s lifeline! I will remember the baby wipe trick for the future though as it really worked on the marmite handprints in the kitchen (lunchtime fun...)

Jaytree, ds often gets hold of a crayon that's been dropped on the floor that I failed to notice when clearing up, and scribbled on the wallpaper. We just used a wet sponge with a dab of washing up liquid. If it gets it off wallpaper OK, shouldn't be a problem on painted walls.
