hehe, what a kid!!! I LOVE her!!!

coppertop · 03/10/2004 21:52

I won't ask where dd2 gets her technique from!

misdee · 03/10/2004 22:10

dh was a bit confused, saying 'i only wanted a drink.' i think he was hoping she'd then go and make him a drink, but no such luck.

i think it was just before dd2 had come into the bedroom and dh was dozing. she probably thought he needed more rest.

LOL misdee

My daughter the 2 once greeted the gas man dressed in a bra and suspender belt. She took great delight swinging her suspender belt and wiggling her bum at him!

fuzzywuzzy · 06/10/2004 11:00

Nikkim, terribly curious, what did the gas man say???

anorak · 06/10/2004 11:17

My ds watched the gas man entering the details into a digital recording device, casually lolled on the door frame and said, 'I've got a game boy as well, you know.'

nikkim · 06/10/2004 11:26

well he came around to flog us British Gas but he could not get out quick enough!! So quick infact that he forgot his gloves so had to call back for them, by then dd was naked.

Angeliz · 06/10/2004 11:28

LOL at these.
Anorak, boys and their toys eh?? (sounds so funny as he was so casual!!)

anorak · 06/10/2004 11:38

The funniest thing of all is that he hasn't got a game boy! It's a broken calculator he pretends with.

nikkim · 06/10/2004 12:11

That is so cute, I used to teach a lad who pretended his pencil case was a mobile phone. Used to shout down it during lessons very disturbing.

Grommit · 06/10/2004 12:59

last week ds's(10 mo)dietician asked me what he drank in addition to milk and water - before I could answer dd (4) piped up "beer - he drinks beer"?! When asked what she had in her packed lunch she said "jam sandwiches and chocolate" - since when?? Kids eh?

when I came home tonight, dd said," Mummy I need a cuddle. Sit down on the sofa and be tired".

handlemecarefully · 22/10/2004 23:48

Cracking up at these - keep them coming!

SofiaAmes · 23/10/2004 01:18

Ds (3.5) asked me the other day why some friends of ours didn't have children. I said that maybe they weren't ready. Ds said, why aren't they ready....it's really easy, you just go to the hospital and pick them up.

I wish - he was 40 hours of labor followed by a cs.

misdee · 23/10/2004 08:28

dd1 is just as funny. she told my mum when she got off the sofa the other day 'you've got a big bum nanny'.

dd2 lifted up my top and rubbed my belly saying ah tummy. wuldnt be so bad if i was at home at the time.

Dd's just got into the habit of coming up to me, pulling herlsef right onto my lap and into my face, launching her face at me to give me kiss then doing it again but just as I think I'm going to get another kiss she headbutts me instead, right in the eye socket - OW!!!

Dh and I are completely unreligious, but our local state schools are c of e. Ds1 aged almost 6, was asking questions about if god was real the othe day, and I said some people think he is, but some think he is an old man with a beard. Ds2 aged 3.5, shouted "HEY! That's not right! God is in our hearts!", and placed his hand on his chest

Apparently dd2 aged 7 had been telling him all about god
