My ds is 5 and loves music and dancing, he has fantastic rhtyhm and can really strut his stuff.

Since going to London and seeing some breakdancers on the south bank he has been practising and is rather good at it.

I think we should persue this potntial but where can boys go to do this stuff?

It's all ballet round here....

my DS's dance: one does ballet, tap, modern and other does freestyle.(not every week tho)

Ask around at the dance schools they often do other things (modern, jazz as well as ballet)
Good Luck my eldest DSA adores his dancing

DS until, well, this term has done a dance class at our local dance centre.

No ballet, just improv and movement (some quite athletic) to music.

Idea was to improve his co-ordination and confidence and I think it has worked. One other boy in his class, several others in the different groups.

DD does a similar class for younger children. DS1 is 8 btw but I think football is gabout to take over for him. Why not inquire of different dance schools etc?

OUr local YMCA does street dancing and i think the sports centre does something similar.

Have a look in the yellow pages aswell.
