The big 40!

Hi everyone looking for i dads in how to celebrate both mine and Dh’s 40th Birthdays.

They fall as week apart and Dh isn’t keen on doing a big party.

We have had a terrible few years with one thing after another and finally were coming out of some stressful situations. Both of us has never really done anything for our milestone birthdays so I would really like to make this special.

Any ideas? What have you don’t before for your birthday? I am happy to break it up and do smaller things even with family and different things with friends. We have two young Dc and we would want to include them in some of the celebrations 🎉

What about a trip to a nice family centred hotel

Yes I’ve booked a house in the country which has its own swimming pool this so for all the immediate family to go to for a few overnights. Am I just being greedy wanting to do more? 😂

I just felt some type of party would be good for extended family and also friends but Dh isn’t really into the idea of a large party. Perhaps I can convince him or do
Something else. A meal
Would have been good but I’ve got such a massive extended family ( around 100)
