I eventually downloaded something called Giant Anti spyware - it found and removed LOADS including the Bullseye network offer one - to see if you have got any spyware go to Add/Remove programs and look for 180search assistant, WinAD client, Bullseye network offer, Bargains.exe and other weird programes. They aren't viruses as such but they give you lots of annoying popups and can change your internet settings.

Well I've been online for 20 mins now and NO POP UPS! Hurrah! I even had one that kept adding things to my Favourites. I felt violated. If Giant continues to work for the 15 day trial I might even splurge on it.

I have suddenly been getting loads of tiscali popups out of the blue - noticed at login that aol has a popup blocker so loaded that and only get an occasional one now. They also offer spybot and something similar. Who are you with, coddy?
