Hi basically someone has made rumours up saying me and my kids are in danger from my partner who is my 15 week old babys dad my boyfriend has previous domestic violence but not against me we have been together since 2018 now social services have become involved where do I go from here there coming out Monday to see us

Be honest and open when SS investigate. There’s nothing to find so there’s nothing to worry about.

Are you totally sure you want to be with somebody who has previous domestic violence? That’s a situation I’d want to know more about under Clare’s Law.

Hi I already have had someone out to read me that there telling me what I already no I understand he has a past and they have a job to do but my partner has never been violent to me or my children and we have been together since 2018 (my baby is his first child ) my house is spotless my kids are well looked after my other son who is 11 is doing brilliant at school its just all a worry

OP 2018 isn't very long ago please be very careful. SS are likely to be interested anyway given his past and honestly I think you'd be sensible to share their concerns.

Your children are in danger, and so are you. You've only been together since 2018 so no time at all, and you must have got pregnant really quickly if you've already got a 15 week old.

For him to be known to social services this wouldn't have been a one off, lapse in judgement situation. He's a violent man. You should be grateful that they are trying to protect your children, in the absence of any basic concern or common sense from you.
