conker · 30/09/2004 16:25

yes that petsmart 'used' to sell them too. Ask her to go through her yellow pages and ring a few pet shops up, if they dont have them they most probably know someone who doea

codswallop · 30/09/2004 16:25

yes someone else said that but she has no links to sec schools and doesnt want to be a mad woman who rings up on spec!

Am I right in thinking you're in South Wiltshire? Do Porton Aquatics & pet shop not have them? They have all the spiders / snakes etc so might be worth a call.

DS2 got one from school the other day.

easy, they don't need a mummy and a daddy! (How good is that? No arguments!) They all lay eggs apparently and you can turn some into babies (he got a little sheet with it). (Of instructions )

Codswallop - I think you can buy them from www.easyinsects.co.uk, didn't have a good look at the website though, my skin was crawling
