Is it too much to ask that they know what they are doing?
This morning I got 5, Yes 5 letters from three different energy suppliers.
One from BG telling the previous tenant (who moved out a year ago!) that she has used so and so amount of energy, Thanks for using Bg etc. I told them when I moved in and they certainly are not my suppliers.
2nd from Npower saying that the meter I have at my house doesn't exist!!!
3rd and 4th from Npower saying sorry your leaving blah blah blah
and the 5th from EDF saying thanks for choosing us blah blah blah.

All I want is an energy company who won't charge me a great fortune, allow me to do my own meter readings so no estimated bills and let me pay by direct debit.
Is that too much to ask for?

powergen have been brilliant in resolving a problem that I had re meter readings when I took over a property.

NPower supply us too and they make me so mad

TheQueenOfQuotes · 24/08/2007 16:26

god no not powergen....PLEASE don't go to powergen - they're cr*p.

chipkid · 24/08/2007 16:27

compared to my experience of Npower they are positively saintly!

PersonalClown · 24/08/2007 16:28

I think it's a theory of who is the least crap! In my last place, Npower were great, hardly ever phones them except with meter readings.
Why does it have to be so hard?

no we had had horrendous problems with them when we were struggling financially a while ago - and our next door neighbour (widower in his 70's) also had problems with them with the billing.
