After my threads whinging about DP and our iminant house move I think we might have found somewhere! We have been flat hunting in earnest for the past week, looking at all sorts of places, as I'm sure you can imagine! I managed to find an area where we could both get to work with relative ease, near lots of shops for me to wander round, the housing is a bit cheaper and isn't where DP works. I was dreading taking him there in case he hated the area, but they had a wimpy so he was quite happy!
Last week we found a flat at the top of our budget, near to everything but with virtually no kitchen (I think it was for yuppie types, take out and en suite shower etc). DP loved it. We also found a really homely clean flat that was a bit further away from the tube, I loved it! So a few more rows!
Today we went to see somewhere that was cheaper than both of the other two, in a central location. I thought it must be really small... but the flat was huge! Fully furnished, both bedrooms were really big, in a new block, decent sized kitchen, light and airy lounge! We've put the holding deposit down, and are now waiting for them to do a credit check and references on DP... Can you keep your fingers crossed for us that everything works out please!
