So I'm wondering if there are any anti virus laptops?

I know people say Apple laptops don't get virus and there are chrome book anti virus! Do any of these work?

Is Apple worth the money?

I bought a hp laptop about 2/3 years ago it's terribly slow and I'm so fed up of it!

Please recommend one that's good and won't be rubbish after one year ConfusedConfused

It's a myth that Macs don't get viruses, I read that most personal computers are windows based so hackers tend to focus their attentions there :)

You can "slow down the slowing down" by always shutting down your machine, removing unessecary files and get anti-virus and anti-malware software straight away.

I bought my Mac second hand years back and it is still going strong. No matter how hard my DS hits the keyboard when watching cartoons it's still ok!

Before you buy a new laptop, have you tried doing some basic ‘housekeeping’ on your old one? Or, failing that, wiping it and reinstalling everything?

A good starting place is to check what programs you have running at start up, delete any you don’t need, delay those you do need but not immediately. Go to add/remove programmes and get rid of what you don’t need. If your browser is slow then either uninstall and reinstall it or, if you’re using edge, download something like Chrome or Firefox.

There are YouTube videos explaining how to do all these if you’re not very techie.

Do you have the model number for your current laptop and do you mainly use it for internet and MS Office, or do you use it for things like video editing, gaming etc?
