last night when i switched on my msn it said i had been added by someone i hadnt a clue about. i blocked them. when i switched my pc on tonight it came straight on without asking for my password and then my connection box came up asking for my internet connection password which it never does....please tell me this is purely coincidence? its all a bit strange for my liking.

Doesn't sound like anything to worry about to me but hopefully someone who knows more about these things can put your mind at rest

NO need to worry you just need to adjust your settings. I think that you need to open msn, then go to tools then options then preferences. I think you might have the following ticked 'run windows messanger when windows starts'. Meaning that each time you log onto your computer msn will start up. all you need to do is untick this and that will stop this happening.

sorry i think i rambled a bit there. it isnt msn thats coming on without the password, it was my pc and my actual internet connection box...but it has been fine tonight so maybe i have a temperamental pc!
