Very proud thread

of my DD who swam a mile today. sponsored in aid of children with luekemia (sp?).
she's only 8, i have never swam that far.
PS she's proud of herself too

congratulations and very well done to your DD. I swam a mile during the summer for charity as well and it's a heck of a long way. She's every right to be proud of herself, very proud in fact.

yes roisin 64 lengths
most people sponsored her for the lot anyway but everyone knew she was aiming for the mile. she raised over £70.
tonight she is one tired girl!!!
