We're going to Barcelona in a week's time, staying with a couple whom we've stayed with twice before - they are very hospitable. This time, however, we'll have our two dds with us!

What shall I get them as a gift? I have a fridge magnet chess game that's quite cool that I'll give to the husband, but what about his wife? I think last time I gave her a set of perfumes.

Bubblebath/soaps?

Some nice english tea/biscuits?

Earplugs?

Posh scented candles?

lol at earplugs. I am a bit concerned, because our children aren't exactly quiet, and can be quite a handful to get to bed at night!

I was also thinking some nice toiletries.

The problem is that it's been more then four years since we've seen them and I can't remember their taste.

how about some nice MOLTON BROWN bath stuff???

ah is Molton Brown the trendy stuff? That's a good idea.

but what if they don't have a bath???? A lot of continental appartments don't have baths! oh this is difficult.

it would have to be shower gel or something.
