How do you inflate a football?

I am appalled that my DH can't handle this. The children's toy balls have a valve in them with a small hole. There must be something you can get that attaches to a bicycle pump or something, to blow them up. But what, and where from? DD's Disney Princess ball looks decidedly floppy.

Yokiegirl is right, BUT some cheap children's balls cannot be reinflated, despite looking as if they can. I know this from experience .
