I want to make up bags of sweets and/or little halloween things for my neighbours kids and my lecturers kids, my area isn't big on Halloween so I would just hand sweets in to my neighbour (3 kids) rather than wait for trick or treaters (we never get any) and similarly I would just hand bags of sweets to me lecturers of the classes I have on Halloween to give to their kids (2 lecturers, 3 kids under age 7 between them)
I mentioned to someone I was going to get halloween goodies for the kids and they said it would be strange since I've never met my lectures kids and the neighbour kids wouldn't be trick or treating, would it be strange?
