Hey. So off into a deep subject. I'm trying to find my daughter's fathers family but i have such little information and I'm not on Facebook so wondered if anyone on here had a similar situation as he doesn't have anything to do with her by his and his gfs choosing so after almost 7 years and bad endings I'm just going to set up a savings account in my daughter's name and he can set up a direct debit or il pay for child maintenance to sort it out as least i can say I have tried but he left alot of important information out as was a very brief but intense relationship so all I know was that he lived in Haverford west, Carmarthen area. Would I be allowed to bandy his name about on social media or is that shameful? Need advice people....thank you....

Don't band his name about on social media but get in touch with all those who use to know him to see if they can help you find him so his daughter can get in touch with him.

Also it is not his gf's fault he is absent. He's a grown adult and adults make their own decisions. He decided for whatever reason - probably an easier life for himself - he couldn't be bothered to known his daughter so far.

You could hire a private investigator. There are a number of them who specialise in finding absent fathers. But rather than contact him directly after he’s found you should probably go via CMS
