Hi my daughter 2 yrs old and thinking is she too old to go in this now, what are people thoughts on this and what age would you take a child out of the buggy or pram and make them walk

I would say that 2 is too old for a pram, but that is just me.

I'd have a lightweight stroller and a set of reins for her, just as I do with my DD who is 2y 1m. I'd encourage her to walk alongside you and when you see that she is flagging, let her climb into the buggy. You might find that she really likes the independence of walking, my DD certainly does.

Not sure about your friend's old buggy, but I don't see how keeping her in the silverx is going to help.

I'd get the buggy and if she refuses to use it, then she walks. It's a bit of a no-brainer, I'm afraid.

I would agree that 2yo is probably a bit old for a pram.

Most of the time my (nearly) 2.5yo uses a light weight buggy or she walks. TBH she is starting to walk more and more often (she doesn't have reins now) when she can and we aren't in too much of a rush (like going to nursery).

We also have a big 3 wheeler pushchair - had since birth - which we use on longer walks/days out. But gain she will also walk a lot of the time too.

Trouble I still like taking a pushchair/buggy out as it's somehwhere to put my shopping!!!
