I was bitten on the boob by a llama once, and that really hurt. Fortunately it just missed the nipple.

I was lying on my side in bed and DD2 climed up and onto bed and caught my nip with her little gripping monkey toes as she hauled herslef up onto the bed.

Jesus! The pain. 7 months pregnant and incredibly sensitive boobs / nips anyway at the moment.

Sat here at work with it just hurting!

What does one do about a bruised, sore nipple I wonder?

Maybe I need to make it a little sling?

Yup, that has happened to me too - countless times. As well as squished by elbows (not mine) and sat on!

my ds always uses them to haul himsel up onto my lap. to screams of "AHHHHH that's NOT a HANDLE!!!"

It really is BLOODY sore! DD1 realised it had happened and then she wanted to stroke and kiss it better! I waqs biting my fist so I din't scream in pain and scare them both!

Have arnice cream at home so will use tonight but hope it stops being sore soon on it's own.

Looked in the fridge at work and have a large yoghurt pot and some nectarines in there, might think about putting one down my bra as think the cold will help.

Hope the boss won't notice!

not trodden on but when ds was little he had a horrid habit of coming into our bed for a cuddle in the morning and trapping my nipple between his hand (tryin g to get up) and the bed - v painful

I knoew how you feel, don't think anything helped other being realy carefull.

If it helps 2 days after having dd i caught mine with a long thumb nail after i had had a bath and sliced it. I thought i sliced of my nippleit was that painfull, didn't help with breastfeeding either.

I am now 37wks and i am keeping my nails realy short.

OMG, just reading the thread title makes me feel queasy! Sore nips are agony.
