Child's belly button

I just want to know if my baby's belly button is infected. I'm worried. But the last time I went to the ER I waited 3 hours for my son to be seen. Just for them to tell me he's fine.

It won't let me post photos yet. But it's reddish on the outside. Looks a bit like mucus on the inside. :(
