Does any one know the German word for pencil sharpner?

Can any one help please. Not that my son deserves it. He just said "Not stupid Mumsnet".
Prove to him how worthwhile mumsnet is.

mein kuli ist kaput is the only thing i can remember from doing the 'pencil case' theme in german........

No but one word I remember from my German lessons was "Kreuzworträtseln" which means Crossword Puzzle.

Has come in very handy since leaving school, as you can imagine

tell him that in french it's 'taille-crayon'. I know he doesn't need to know but just to prove a point about MN

my dh laughs and laughs when i tell him some of the titles of the threads. Can't wait for him to come home and tell him this one!
