Ebay - why buy from anywhere else ???

Dh got a new phone at the weekend (free upgrade) and chose an ericsson over the nokias we usually have. This upgrade will actually be mine and he gets my old one!

Anyway turns out the charger that came with it didn't work. The supplier will send a replacement charger but only when they receive the faulty one which could take a few days. So I thought i would buy one from a phone shop and when the replacement comes use the new charger at work. I went into a carphone warehouse and they wanted £29.99 for a charger. Told them to forget it and came home and looked on Ebay. They are selling them on there for £2.99 plus £2.00 P&P. I bought one PLUS a car charger all for less than £8.00.

Why bother with shops ???????

Yes, I have on certain things.

HOWEVER, beware. Sometimes things are more on ebay than in the shops!

Last night, someone was bidding £7.50 + p&p for a used ELC sandwich set which is £6 new in the shops!

I agree with cd, it can be great but you need to check prices elsewhere first!!

My dh had trouble with his ericsson charger too. He had 2 faulty ones before he ended up with a good one. However, luckily the phone store where he did the upgrade sorted it out for us each time.

I love Ebay too but beware most of that designer stuff is fake especially the big names like Tiffany and Louis Vuitton. They are very good fakes as they are coming from the Far East, you are not allowed to sell counterfeit goods on Ebay so they all say they are genuine.

If you don't mind then no problem as they do have the logos and the bags etc.
