anyone know Hemel Hempstead please?

We are going to the Brakespear tomorrow for DS to have the mups jab. I dont really want to drive all the way there, have the jab and thend rive all the way home. Is there a park or play area fairly nearby that would be worth going to does anyone know please?

Gadebridge park is lovely. It's down the bottom.

Yes Gadebridge park is fab and Berkhamsted has a good playground or there is Boxmoor and the canal...

thanks very much. Gadebridge Park looks very close according to the AA so that will do nicely. IS there a coffee shop there do you know?

No there isn't but it is a short walk into Hemel Town where there are several. Hemel Old Town is closest and adjoins the park and that is a bit nicer than the shopping centre bit which is fairly generic.

Whittards used to be nice, - in the Marlowes. don't know if it's still open. Woman that ran it was lovely.
