IMO, it's a special present that your dd will love,(especially if you tell her the story )

why not Yorkiegirl...if it's something that she'd really like don't think it matters that it isn't brand new at that age...I am sure that you do buy her stuff for other occassions that is new

when she gets older you'll be wishing you could do that when you see that things like bikes and stuff for 7 year olds plus cost over £100 and they want the latest trends...that's just my personal opinion but don't think it's mean and stingy at all, especially as it hasn't been played with and is immaculate...when's her birthday?

My dd has a glow worm of mine ( it's old and minging but well loved) and a Winnie the Pooh book. She loves them both.

It'd be a lovely present Yorkiegirl.

My mum kept loads of my toys,including a zoo,farm,cars,lego, tiny tears & my cowboys & indians that were originally my uncle's (can't get them now,to un PC).All of these will go to dd sooner or later & I don't think its stingy at all.
