When did your period return after pregnancy?

I am 5 months postpartum and breastfeeding. My period has not yet returned .
When did other breast feeding mums periods return ?

Around 2 years. I was feeding at night though.

It can be dependent on weight; more weight tends to mean earlier regaining periods but absolutely every woman is completely different. I've know of the odd woman to take 3 years, others barely a couple of months and all feeding in demand.

It doesn't mean you can get pregnant though; I suspect I'm ovulating but am currently 14 mo post partum and no periods.
