Hello,
I am having a go at doing some freelance writing over the summer. I started by writing an article about something I know a fair bit about and have opinions on, and have e-mailed it to a features editor of a newspaper. I have also got a few other ideas of subjects I could write about.
Does anyone have any experience of this type of writing? How long do you think I should leave it before either e-mailing the section editor again or sending the same article elsewhere? Or is that bad freelance etiquette?
If anyone could offer any advice I'd be really grateful. TIA!
