Please help me give my seaside flat a name

Am doing rentals and want to give the flat a name. It is about 100 yards from the sea. Want it to have a pretty name but can't go over the top as it is only a flat.

Suggestions please.

can you say where it is? Don't suppose it makes a difference but it may inspire

SecondhandRose · 27/07/2007 08:12

It is in Aldeburgh, pebbly beach. More of an adult destination. No amusements etc.

DelGirl · 27/07/2007 08:14

Where's that? Do any of the other flats have names?

or you could go surrealist?

Volcano View?

Goldengate view?

taxidriver · 27/07/2007 08:23

like that, what is the nearest country over the sea?

SecondhandRose · 27/07/2007 08:26

Mostly London visitors and mostly over 40. Plenty of money obvious as thriving expensive shops.

Would want to give it a traditional name. The sea view is more of a glimpse if you stand on one leg and and bend 45 degrees.

I wanted to go for something pretty as I think it draws people in - sad I know.

How about "Atlantic View" (she says, knowing full well that Aldeburgh is on the east coast)

Sorry, couldn't help it.

How about something relating to the history of Aldeburgh?

MrsJohnCusack · 27/07/2007 09:34

something to do with Benjamin Britten because of the festival, and it might help attract musical festival goers

something to do with the 'Sea Interludes' from Peter Grimes

or Britten's View
or Albert Herring's Retreat
or Gloriana
or Curlew River

or just Serenade
