DISPOSABLE NAPPY IN WASHING MACHINE

Somehow or other my 2 year old managed to get a (clean!) disposable nappy in with a load of washing. The clothes came out covered with little white bits which really show up on the mostly black load. ( A bit like when you leave a tissue in a pocket but much worse).

Is there anything I can put in the machine with these clothes to get these bits off? I have tried brushing with a clothes brush which got some off but not all and it is really hard work....

Do you have a tumble dryer? mine helps to get loads of fluff and tissue bits off.

Thanks for your comments and tips - no I do not have a tumble dryer but will try washing them again and see what happens...
