I can't bear BE or The Observer's pathetic attempts to make personalities out of jobbing journalists.

That Ferguson nob needs a kick in the cock too.

Only good 'un is my darling Nigel Slater.

I must be very odd as I don't ever do this. I don't tend to talk about my feelings with my friends, just gossip, work, current affairs, politics, philosophy, what's for supper, shoes, hair, kids etc
I always felt vaguely guilty and bad for this. Glad to know it has its good points.

Books, films, houses, farrow & ball paint chart, cheese..

ROFL. Narrator.

NKF · 23/07/2007 21:13

An online ladies loo! Hmmm. But there's no cocaine and no-one's passed out.

Heathcliffscathy · 23/07/2007 21:13

it's what i love about you aloha.....no hysterical EE

moondog, i know waht you mean but she makes a decent point.

i'm feeling VERY left out at not being a narrator except that one of my favourite mners was also a star.

I was a star
Still, it was one up on being 'night' (black jumper and tights)

moondog · 23/07/2007 21:18

Hmm,peope paid to point out staggeringly obvious in what they assume is wry fashion.

I don''t like The Observer anymore.

They even had breathy 'backstage in Paris' reportage from that model with a face like a smacked arse in that edition.

Heathcliffscathy · 23/07/2007 21:19

oh god moondog agree that that was AWFUL.

and i'm sure was ghostwritten too. (prejudice prejudice).

I think she is a clever girl though.Didn't she turn down a place at Oxford?
(I stand firm on smacked arse and shit writing points though.)

beanbearer · 23/07/2007 21:30

The article's all about empathy but defines EE as Extreme Emphasising - the Grauniad stable back at its best, but with spellcheck on board?

Heathcliffscathy · 23/07/2007 21:32

it know that spelling mistake shoudl have had a head roll imo.
