that time of the year again!....

....where the staff at my school start asking me what will the christmas production be this year!!!
so i'm just interested to hear what performances have your school put on at christmas time?

...previously we've put on oliver, scrooge, Bugsy Malone, cinders... i'm toying with the idea of Joseph! but i think this would entail a LOT of rehearsal!... and i'm not sure there are that many talented Year 6's this year!!!!....

the production will be a key stage 2 production and we are a small innner city school so no fancy stage to use (only a few blocks to slot together and make a platform!)... any idea how much the licence would be to put on Joseph!.. or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

We did one at school when I was 9 called "Chanticleer" about a rooster who gets eaten by a fox. Great songs - I still remember them all 20 years later. Absolutely no idea where the music is found. Will google.

we did one called Wheels & Water about hte American Gold Rush (not sure why) "We had wheels and water, to help us on our way, we had wheels and water, to get to Cal-i-forn-i-a"

Also Zalzibar the Wizard "I'm Zalzibar the Wizard, my secrets of magic I'll tell, so all of you can also do, magic as well"
