Didn't know quite where to put this.

My step mil died about a year ago from cancer, she was an artist. My fil has put together an exhibition of her work, which is going to be displayed in Bideford from the 28th sept -14th oct. I just thought anyone who was nearby might want to go. Admission is free.

Details as follows:

Marylyn Hyde 1941-2003
A Retrospective
Burton Art Gallery & Museum
Kingsley Road
Bideford
N Devon
EX39 2QQ

opening hours are tues-sat 10-5, sun 2-5

I don't expect anyone to attend, but thought I would give it a flag up just in case.

Hello WM!

I know, I don't think there are that many netters in devon, but I thought I would throw it open anyway. Dh is going to the private viewing the sat before it opens with dd1. I will be keeping the younger hooligans at home.

She was a v good artist imo.

i would love to see her work lou, what kind of paintings did she do?

lou33 · 13/09/2004 22:11

More sculptures and pottery really. Pots shaped like women's heads, stoneware slabs, they are great pieces. My fil is the painter.
