I've tried shouting, swearing, and crying but I still feel so arghhuggableurgh so I'm going to have moan here

I have a flat tyre on the car (major hole in it) I tried to change the wheel but failed as I have arthritis and now I'm in agony for just trying. Phoned the dentist to explain that myself and my ds cannot attend our appointment only to be told that we will receive a strike (re govt instructions) and if we miss again we will be thrown out, therefore will have no dentist and no hope of finding another.

So I'm stuffed all round. No car and no money on me, therefore no bus fare, no way to get to the bank to get money cos can't walk cos of arthritis.

permission to feel really sorry for myself please

You have permission. And your dentist is blardy unreasonable.

How damn unreasonable of the dentist! So if, someone was to cancel an appointment at the last minute because they'd fallen down the stairs and broken their leg, they'd be struck off? Surely there must be some allowance for unforeseen circumstances? Maybe you just got the 'jobs worth' receptionist, I wouldn't let that go tbh.
Shitty about the flat tyre too. Have you managed to get someone to change it for you now?
