Just wanna get it off my chest , then move onto nicer thoughts. Why are there sooooooo many I hate threads ???????not being Kiljoy , but we spend a lot fo time being cynical about life and Ive just had it up to here with crap going on and would like some more postivity , as the negativity is brigning me right down & Im haveing a hard time with my Ads, doctors, parents, sisters and all sorts of life stuff. I wanna talk about some good stuff otherwsie Ill cry and cry so there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bibiboo · 13/09/2004 10:59

Okay Melsy, how about
Today I love:

*Me and dh staying in bed all Sunday morning feeling Boo kick
*Opening the nursery door for a peek and thinking about our baby being in there soon
*Eating chocolate every day
*People smiling at me in the street
*Scampi & Lemon Nik Naks

Anyone else?

woodpops · 13/09/2004 10:59

Cheer up chuck. My ds pooed on the potty at the weekend. Felt so proud of him, that made me very happy.

wobblyknicks · 13/09/2004 11:00

You're right, there's too much depression for it to be good. Ok, what cheers you up (I'll start you off);

Hugh Jackman
Trees
Having a laugh with people
Eating chocolate
Feeling switched on
Wearing your favourite clothes
Watching telly when you shouldn't be
Knowing its never more than 24 hours from bedtime

Any more??

woodpops · 13/09/2004 11:01

Bibiboo, deffinately lemon and scampi nik naks. How fab are they!!!!

Freckle · 13/09/2004 11:02

OK, well my highpoint of the day so far is that the dog hasn't managed to eat my post. Might have something to do with the fact that I left a note for the postie to put all post in a carrier bag outside the front door, but still, it's an achievement to get my post in one piece and without teeth marks in it. We've tried a metal cage on the back of the door but the dog has managed to pull that off several times and dh won't agree to a postbox outside the house. Hopefully he'll eventually come to see that a carrier bag outside the door lowers the tone more than a nice postbox . Not sure why he thinks a postbox will spoil the outside of the house when his bl**dy great wellies normally sit there day in day out.......

Sorry, probably not the sort of stuff to make you laugh, but I feel good about it!

Why don't you get back into bed

Melsy you're right. I'm sitting at work, having got soaked on the walk here and someone has just been rather rude to me and I'd far rather be at home however.....your post forced me to think happy thoughts namely dd's elaborate penguin game. DH and I have to follow her back from the bathroom waddling like penguins every night now, then we have to be fed pretend penguin food, we even have names now - fru-li-woo-li and du-li-woo-li.....she's 2 and a bit....thanks for cheering me up I hope you feel better too soon.

Bibiboo · 13/09/2004 11:50

It's howling a gale outside andIstuck at my desk BUT am cheerful reading all your posts. Thanks to melsy for kicking our a$$es and making us think of good things.

PS. Hugh jackman is a VERY good thing indeed

wobblyknicks · 13/09/2004 14:00

If everyone had a Hugh Jackman (or equivalent) no-one would be depressed.

Bibiboo · 13/09/2004 14:38

Can I do a little survery..?

Hugh Jackman a la Wolverine or in his natural state.

Personally, I'd take either

wobblyknicks · 13/09/2004 14:41

Natural state every time but would happily take either too!!

Welshmum · 13/09/2004 14:43

Who's Hugh Jackman? What's he been in? I'm intrigued now

wobblyknicks · 13/09/2004 14:51
