I just did and got the impression he wasn't too impressed! More work for him I think

He also seemed really surprised (first time I have given stuff back) like not many do it

But no way was I not getting my 69p scourers but having to pay for £2.49 ones instead

Also got some peas that you pod, buy 1 get one free so I got 4 bags, Instead they tried to substitute them for 4 bags of others peas that were not buy one get one free

Would have had to have paid nearly £7 for some peas!!!!!

No way was I having that

I often give stuff back if it's not what I ordered - it's no problem! I have also given back teh odd thing that was right on it's "use by" date.

yes i give them back if i don't like them. you can specify what you will accept, ie if no free range large eggs i put that i will accept medium but will not accept any non free range eggs. with bread i say i'll take any wholemeal but no granary or white.

Best one was when I ordered size 2 Huggies and they substituted some that would have fitted my 10 year old! Had no problem handing those back.

MumOfSlytherinsMonsters · 16/07/2007 14:01

no as i specify no subs lol! i have rung up and returned an extra bag of shopping though which the driver seemed surprised at. I think he assumed i would keep it

anniebear · 16/07/2007 14:01

thats good! He made me feel like I was the only to have ever have handed something back to him!

so where do I specify about sustitutes?

I use asda more often than not and all my substitues are always more expensive items but they price match so rarely send them back. Last one was a mulitpack of dried apricot snack packs instead of a single one!

Did seem to have a rubbish shopper last week tho - got sent low fat sausage rolls instead of sausages, and full fat yoghurt intsead of fat free yoghurt! They got sent back.

stressteddy · 16/07/2007 14:03

I have given back a few times
The best was when I had ordered healthy living cod loin (no skin, no bones)
They sent battered cod
fgs!

cylonbabe · 16/07/2007 14:04

i always give stuff back if i dont want it , need it, or ist oo expensive.
the bloke was probly just thinking more work for him.

MumOfSlytherinsMonsters · 16/07/2007 14:05

when you click checkout a page full of different thigs comes up. On that page is a place to put any voucher codes but there is also a blue buttin on teh left i think for subs. Click on it and you can either click no subs or there is space next to each item to write what you would be willing to swap for

anniebear · 16/07/2007 14:05

Thanks, will do that next time

worst thing though......they brought me a chicken curry for my luch instead of the chicken supreme I was looking forward to!!! lol
