Really desperate to get out this flat iv got 2 kids my daughter is 12 and my sons 11 the living situation is a struggle the kids need there own space and can’t share a room as they are constant arguing about silly things and understandingly thy both need there own space it’s just a nightmare !! so to make it easier my son started sleeping in with me witch over the time has became a bit of a problem as he’s got older and he’s going to high school after the summer!! he said to me a few days ago mum I don’t really want to be sleeping in beside you if I’m going to height school soon 😭 obviously I completely understand but I’m trying my hardest iv been looking for houses to bid for every week (as gha that’s what u need to do now)I’m seriously considering a private let but I work under 20 hours a week n payed monthly I’m only entitled to £13 housing benefit n have to pay £300 rent every 4 weeks from my wadges the child tax n working tax I receive every week is just enough to keep us living through the week plus I’m in rent arrears so need to pay £20 pound from weekly tax credits to my my arrears it’s a constant stress and worry and me feeling bad becouse I can’t really do much to help get us out this situation I’m also 15 weeks pregnant 🤔 iv got my name down in other housings but there’s a waiting list 😢 I’m a single mum and don’t get help from kids dad! Can anyone give me some advice please or anyone that’s in a similar situation x

Now your youngest is going to high school could you increase your working hours?

I'm 15 weeks pregnant so in a few months I'd be on maternity leave it's a small shop I'm working in were there isn't many more hours available and sometimes I'm finishing my shift at half 10 at nite so don't really want to be leaving the kids till that time! I don't have many reliable people that could help me look after them!

Is the ex of your older children the father of this new baby? I’d your having another child at some point the council will offer you alternative accommodation
