Lovely sunny weather

It's a bit soggy round here, just steady rain though, nothing overly dramatic.

DH has just been excitedly showing me some 'new' birds in the garden. Bullfinches are very spectacular Then a deer sauntered across the garden, just because it could. I do like living in the sticks sometimes

In other news, I took on another freelance job - not sure that was wise, but ho hum.

Went to bed early. Couldn’t sleep. Finally got to sleep but then woke up in the night and took ages to go back to sleep. Sore throat too. Woe, oh woe, oh woe is me. And I’m out tomorrow night for something I’ve had tickets for for ages.

I think we've skipped Summer and moved straight into Autumn I'm back to wearing trousers and a nice warm shirt for work. So much for summer dresses and sandals

Not much to say really - understaffed at work & we are all v busy, so long days, get home, do chores, go to bed. Living the dream.

Still, DD has nearly finished her exams, so that's one positive thing.

Afternoon. Still raining. I managed to prune the wisteria before the bin men came this morning. A month ago it didn't have any foliage on it and now it's taking over the front garden.
